Arts & Crafts Fair
It was a beautiful weekend here in Phoenix on Saturday! A little warmer than usual - 83! So we decided to head on up to Anthem, about 20 minutes north of Phoenix, for the 2006 Anthem Arts & Crafts Festival.
We'd never really been to Anthem, so we were pleasantly surprised at the park where the Festival was held:
They even have a train that chugs around the lake:
The festival itself was not all that big - it took us about 20 minutes to walk through and see everything. But, we did come across some pretty neat stuff:
I liked how the cactus was coming out of the painting in this one.
And these little stuffed animals were oddly cute:
There were lots of puppy dogs there too. My favorite.....
One day, soon, we will get one of these! Though probably a long-hair. Then I will drive the blogging world insane with puppy dog pictures. Mwuahahahahaha!!

Awwww! When I was growing up we had a dog that looked just like that. You should totally get one just so that I can live vicariously through your puppy pictures!
We have a good friend who has a dog like that. She is a little bullet, so sweet. Sounds like the trip was a fun one.
Joe has told me that I can start "looking" for breeders in the area. Woo! :)
So you'll soon get to particpate in WDB w/ your new puppy! Yay--Daschunds are soooo cute.
I have four doxies. They never fail to amuse and frustrate! You gotta love 'em!
