Uptown Art Fair

Today, we went to the Uptown Art Fair. It's been a few years since we last went, and now that we are back in Minneapolis, it was on our list of things to do this summer.

There are always some very fun and interesting exhibits there. This is a great example:
And even funnier:I think this one would look good in our kitchen:
One of the most amazing booths was the one with wax figures. They were so life-like!
Eerie! Finally, more along hte quirky and fun side was this thing:
Joe and I both thought the exhibits and artists were as creative as ever, though some of the prices were way up there!

Hey! I didn't see you there, we must have just missed each other.

Although the bust of the artist looks incredibly lifelike, it would be creepy to have something like that in the house.

HI Tree - it was really fun. Always good to see how creative other people are and remember why I am in mortgage baking :p

Hey SK - we were there around 10:00 and left by 11:45 or so. We ended up parking at Lake Calhoun and walking up for some added exercise :) Would have been fun to run into you! Have a great time off! I'm so jealous.

Funny how we're both in the mortgage biz, huh? Small world! (Until you have to walk it)
