This is....Different!

While we were out and about today, we came across this "unsually decordated" car. And lucky for you, I had our camera with us!

I'm not sure what to make of it....

...or what exactly this is supposed to mean....it's on the roof!

I'm not even sure what the material is all over the car. I was afraid to get too close. I guess if you are going to make a statement, you may as well make a bold one! Any theories?

Meantime, Fluffy (Max) made his own statement in the back yard:

MY ball!

Is that a skull and crossbones on the side of that car? If so, I think it's pretty funny to stick a pirate symbol on an otherwise pretty basic Honda or Toyota or whatever. Ooooh, so scary.

I just call it ugly. The car, not your dog of course. ;-)

The face on the roof reminds me of a stylized version of the "face" seen in photos of Mars. The quilt like covering looks like Contact (Contac?) paper, like what you'd use to line shelves, or maybe treated fabric. It reminds me of an early American quilt, whoever did this put a lot of thought to placement of colors, it almost looks like a complementary color scheme.
Max as always looks unbelievably adorable. I love his smile!

I love laughing at art cars! But I never have my camera with me. Must start.

Sigh, why doesn't this site let me use my full repertoire of html? "Laugh at" above is supposed to have a strike line through it.

Hi mebeth - yes, it is, and yea, pretty lame! I would have loved to have waited around and snapped a picture of the person who got in. Haha.

Hey Mike - Butt-ugly sums it up pretty well. Max is just cuteness. :)

Hey Tree - now that you mention it, I see what you are saying about the face. I think the covering was some sort of fabric, but wow, it must have taken a to of time to put together. Haha. Max says "Thank you, please send me doggie treats now!".

Hey SK: Nothing is easy. Hee hee. I have more useless pictures saved than Joe cares to imagine.
