Good God, STOP!

Yes, another snow storm!
This is stoopid! Poor Mom - she's already a nervous flyer....and this did NOT help.
The good news is she called to let us know she made it back home to PA safe and sound.

I put Max outside to play in the snow for a bit, but even he was tired of it all....
Reports say it will be 50 by Friday, so this *better* be the last snow until November!

Phooey on Snow!

Today is all about coloring eggs - I don't care HOW much snow there is outside....

This year's egg coloring kit contained 12 tablets! 12! But it's hard to tell which color each tablet actually is, so I randomly picked 8 and let 'er rip:
I like to make a nice big mess when I color eggs. It makes things more fun. After the first round, I decided the colors were not varied enough, so I plunked in 2 more tablets to see what I could come up with.

In the end, I was not as pleased with the overall differences in some of the color, but the colors themselves turned out pretty neat:
Add that neon pink was pink! Holy crap!

It finally stopped snowing by 1:00. We ended up with about 8 inches in our neck of the woods.

And it was soooo heavy! Go away already! We want Spring. Mom will NOT be pleased, given her intended arrival next week and clear demands for no snow.....

The boys took advantage of the above-freezing temps to get some sun out on the deck.
We have promised Mom it will be "nice" when she comes out to visit in 2 weeks. This means not telling her that temps can indeed drop to super-cold in March, or that the weather folks are calling for snow tomorrow. Shhhhhh!

Our little deck-squatter was out and about today.....
He/she drives Max crazy, as he can only watch from inside.

My opinion on Daylight Savings Time: It sucks! The best part of living in Phoenix was never having to change our clocks. .....
